How We Started

The journey of The Storehouse began in 2016, with a dream.

Pastor Tolu Adesanya (“P Tols”) had a dream where he saw himself leading a large group of people to a farm to begin a harvest. He could only recognize one face in the dream, and when he saw this person a few days later, he related the dream to them.

While Pastor Tolu initially thought the dream was about a business opportunity, the person told him that the dream was instead about the harvesting of souls.

A few years later, in 2020, a group called “The Shift” came together to pray consistently, sensing that there was a higher calling and that God was doing something new in Nigeria. During one of these prayer sessions, Pastor Tolu received a revelation to call us The Storehouse, with the aim of feeding the needy.

Following another dream that culminated in Pastor Tolu deciding to say “yes” to God, our first-ever Spontaneous Worship took place in February 2021, and we have not stopped since.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Tolu Adesanya, fondly called P Tols, is the lead pastor of The Storehouse and is happily married to Pastor Ijeoma Adesanya, with 3 children.

His passion for the kingdom of God and His people has led to his consistent involvement in mentoring, guiding and teaching young people to love and serve God. He has a passion for seeing people serve their generation according to the will of God and has embarked on this commitment to God in ministry for 10 years.

Missions and Values

To be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
To love Christ, and to love all.
To please the Father, and for our food to come from doing the will of our Father who sent us.
To answer God’s call in Nigeria and build a nation of people who truly know Him.

Core Beliefs

We believe that God is the creator of the universe and that he created human beings in his own likeness and image (Col 1:16, Genesis 5:1)
We believe that God sent his true son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice into the world to save us from sin.

We believe that Jesus died, was resurrected, and is now seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. (John 3:16-17, Col 3:1)
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and our work is to proclaim the Gospel so that all the Earth will come to him and know him (1 Corinthians 12:12, Matt 28:19-20)
We believe that Jesus will come again, and will establish His kingdom on Earth (Hebrews 9:28, Zecharaiah 14:9)
