How We Started
The journey of The Storehouse began in 2016, with a dream.
Pastor Tolu Adesanya (“P Tols”) had a dream where he saw himself leading a large group of people to a farm to begin a harvest. He could only recognize one face in the dream, and when he saw this person a few days later, he related the dream to them.
While Pastor Tolu initially thought the dream was about a business opportunity, the person told him that the dream was instead about the harvesting of souls.
A few years later, in 2020, a group called “The Shift” came together to pray consistently, sensing that there was a higher calling and that God was doing something new in Nigeria. During one of these prayer sessions, Pastor Tolu received a revelation to call us The Storehouse, with the aim of feeding the needy.
Following another dream that culminated in Pastor Tolu deciding to say “yes” to God, our first-ever Spontaneous Worship took place in February 2021, and we have not stopped since.
